Medea Gallery was established in 1976 as Winnipeg's first Artists' Co-operative. It comprises 2 floors of original fine art by Manitoba artists including painters, print makers, sculptors and fine art photographers.
Member artists manage and staff the gallery and work with a number of consignment artists who supply hand made ceramics, glasswork, jewellery and other fine craft items.
Member artists exhibit continuously through the year with individual members being featured for two-week periods at a time. Major exhibitions are held several times a year.
Medea Gallery members believe everyone should be able to own original fine art: therefore we offer original fine art at reasonable prices.
