For original fine art by Manitoba artists, visit Medea Gallery, located in the heart of Osborne Village, an eclectic mix of boutiques and restaurants close to downtown Winnipeg.

Medea Gallery, named after a Greek enchantress, was established in 1976 as Winnipeg's first Artists' co-operative. It comprises 2 floors of original fine art by Manitoba artists. Currently there are 23 member artists, who manage and staff the gallery, and 26 consignment artists.

Member artists exhibit continuously through the year with individual members being featured for two-week periods at a time. Major exhibitions are held several times a year.

Medea Gallery members believe everyone should be able to own original fine art: therefore we offer original fine art at reasonable prices. A rental program is also available, with the ability to apply rental payments to the purchase price of the artwork.

A work of art makes a wonderful gift. Gift certificates are available, as well as an "on approval" program so that you can be comfortable with your choice.
